Exporting your home information

A common question we get at Homer, is: "Can I export my home information?"

Of course you can! For whatever reason you may have, you can always ask the Homer team for a full home export, at no cost.

You will then receive an email with a link to download a compressed ZIP-file. When you uncompress the file, you will find all information organized in folders that correspond to your "cards" in Homer - for example "Kitchen".

Inside the folder "Kitchen" you will find the pdf-files, photographs, notes, links, receipts etc you have stored on that card.

Please be aware that all other formatting as well as metadata is removed, which means that we do not export or visually recreate the tags, timeline, home gallery  or other visual representation of the information. (If you want that, we suggest you use the actual Homer app!) 

What you need to do: To ensure your identity and access to the information, you will need to make your export request when you are logged in to the Homer app. Go to Settings (Cog wheel) > Help and ask for an export.
