How to delete your account or home

If you want to delete your account or your home, you can do so in the app

How to:

Delete your account:

1. Choose Settings (the gear wheel icon, top right corner on the home screen in the app)

2. Choose the tab  My Account

3. Scroll down, at the bottom of the screen you will see a red button called Delete Account. Press the button. 

4. To avoid deleting your home unintentionally, you will need to write the word "delete" in the window shown before pressing on Delete

5. Your account is now deleted.

If you had a home on that account, without anyone else having access to the same home, that home will also be deleted. If you share the home with someone else in Homer, the home will remain.

Delete your home:

If you want to keep your account, but delete the home and the information in it, do as follows:

1. Choose Settings (the gear wheel icon, top right corner on the home screen in the app)

2. Choose the tab  My Home

3. Scroll down and at the bottom of the screen you will see a red button called Delete Home. Press the button.

4. To avoid deleting the home unintentionally, you will need to write the word "delete" in the window shown before pressing on Delete.

5. Your home is now deleted.
