Are digital receipts valid?

In the Homer app, you can upload and safely store digital copies of receipts. This is useful for a number of reasons, primarily if you need to use the warranty or return/exchange your item.

Most stores now accept digital pictures of the receipt instead of the actual hard copy. All businesses are required to keep their transaction history in order, and will be able to retrieve sufficient information about the purchase from the digital copy. This means that you can still return items for which you have lost the original receipts for if you have uploaded it in the Homer app. 

How to save receipts in Homer

• Simply open the item you wish to upload the receipt image for and press "Add information".
• Press Receipt and use the camera function in the app to capture the image.
• When you need the receipt again simple open the item card.
